Itinerary

Upon arrival at Ashgabat International Airport, you will be met by a guide and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, your tour of Ashgabat begins. The city is renowned for its stunning, often surreal, architecture and holds the Guinness World Record for the highest density of white marble buildings. You will visit the city's key landmarks, including the Presidential Palace, the Wedding Palace, the Arch of Neutrality with its rotating golden statue of former president Saparmurat Niyazov, and Independence Park with its massive monuments and statues celebrating Turkmenistan's history. You will also see the Ertogrul Gazy Mosque, a magnificent Turkish-style mosque. In the evening, you can witness the city's unique charm as the white marble buildings and fountains are spectacularly illuminated.

Breakfast is at the hotel. Half-day city tour including visit Carpet museum opened in 1994. It has a rich collection of Turkmen carpets from the medieval through to the 20th century, including over 1000 carpets from the 18th and 19th centuries and one of the biggest hand -made carpets in the world. Transfer to Darwaza in the Karakum desert, with visit of Erbent desert community on the way. Darwaza - The center of a gas-rich area in the heart of the Karakum desert attracts travelers from all over the world because of its unique burning crater that offers a particularly spectacular view in the dark. BBQ dinner. Return to Ashgabat after dark (slow driving). Night is at the hotel.

After breakfast visit the “Alem” Ferris wheel, panoramic tour to the “Bag Koshgi” (wedding palace) Independence Monument. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch drive to Kow-Ata underground lake . The Turkmen name Kow-Ata means Father of caves. At first glance, this underground area appears like a magnificent auditorium: the overall length of the cave is 230 m, its height reaches 20 m, and its width is at some points 57 m. The bottom of the cave is covered with lumps of dissolved limestone (stalagmites), and its warm and gushing water is clear and emerald colored. The water has a constant temperature of 33-37°C. (You should swim in a lake). Return to hotel. Night at the hotel.
